Organization Name :- Border Security Force (BSF)

BSF is the primary border guarding force of India established on 1 December 1965. It is one of the five Central Armed Police Forces by the Union of India. BSF under Union Government and administrative control of the Ministry of Homa Affairs.

BSF has been termed as the First Line of Defence of Indian Territories. It is one of many law enforcement agency of India. It currently stands as the world’s largest border guarding force. At present, BSF has 257,363 Active Personnel in their organization.

Positions :- Group – B & C Posts ( SMT – Workshop ) 

Job Location :- Across India

Salary :-

• Group – B Posts :  Rs 35,400 – 1,12,400/-
• Group – C Posts : Rs 21,700 – 69,100/-

Qualification :-

Group – B Posts : Minimum three years’ Diploma in Auto Mobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Auto Electrical Engineering from an Institute recognized by Government.

Group – C Posts :

• Matriculation or 10th Class pass from a recognized Board or Institution. And
• Industrial Training Institute certificate in respective trade. OR
• Three years work experience in respective trade from a reputed firm.

Age Limit ( as on 13.03.2023 ) :-

• Group – B Posts :  30 years ( Relaxable for Government servants upto 5 Years )
• Group – C Posts : 18 – 25 years ( Relaxable for departmental candidates upto 40 years )

Note : Relaxation in upper age limit is available to different categories and Central Government servants as per instructions/order issued by the Central Govt. from time to time.
