Qualification :- Diploma in Chemical
Experience :- Should have minimum 2- 5 yrs. of working experience in a chemical testing laboratory, preferably with refinery / petrochemical testing background.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities :-
Quality Management System- To achieve the team’s objectives and continue to do so over time :
- Perform tests on various petroleum/refinery samples, as per schedule / requirement, following standard test methods viz., BIS, ASTM, ISO, etc. and certifying them.
- Capable to independently operate various petroleum testing instruments viz., colour comparator, density analyzer, distillation, sulfur analyzer, flash point tester, viscosity analyzer and others, perform instrument calibration, standardization of solutions and maintaining them.
- Primary troubleshooting of analytical instruments under the guidance of supervisor.
- Commissioning and installation of new instruments as per standard at any site
MIS: To enable timely decision making to achieve the business’s targets :
- Timely reporting of results and highlighting abnormalities in sample for deviations from specifications.
- Preparation of various test reports and communicating to various customers.
- Maintaining trends of various tests / samples.
Compliance & Audit :
- Carry internal quality audits as per requirement
- To ensure compliance to safety rules and regulations and good laboratory practice
