Salary :- 

• Junior Engineer: Rs 29,600 – 1,19,500/-
• Supervisor: Rs 29,600 – 1,19,500/-
• Sr. Accountant: Rs 29,600 – 1,19,500/-
• Hindi Translator: Rs 27,000 – 1,05,000/-
• Draftsman: Rs 25,000 – 85,000/-

Qualification :-

Junior Engineer (Civil):

• 03 years full-time regular Diploma in Civil Engineering from Government / Government recognized Institutes with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.
• Higher technical qualifications like B.Tech/B.E. without the essential qualification i.e. full-time regular Diploma is not eligible/ allowed.

Junior Engineer (Electrical):

• 03 years full-time regular Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Government / Government recognized Institutes with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.
• Higher technical qualifications like B.Tech/B.E. without the essential qualification i.e. full-time regular Diploma is not eligible/ allowed.

Junior Engineer (Mechanical):

• 03 years full-time regular Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Government / Government recognized Institutes with minimum 60% mark or equivalent grade.
• Higher technical qualifications like B.Tech/B.E. without the essential qualification i.e. full-time regular Diploma is not eligible/ allowed.

Junior Engineer (E&C):

• 03 years full-time regular Diploma in Electronics & Communications Engineering from Government/Government recognized Institutes with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.
• Higher technical qualifications like B.Tech/B.E. without the essential qualification i.e. full-time regular Diploma is not eligible/ allowed.

Supervisor (IT):

• Regular Graduate with DOEACC ‘A’ level course from Government /Government recognized Institutes with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade. OR
• Three years regular Polytechnic Diploma in Computer Science / IT from Government / Government recognized Institutes with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade. OR
• Regular BCA / B.Sc. (Computer Science/IT) from Government/ Government recognized Institutes with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.
• Experience: 01 year

Supervisor (Survey):

• 03 years full-time regular Diploma in Surveying / Survey Engineering from Government / Government recognized Institutes with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.
• Higher technical qualifications like B.Tech/B.E. without the essential qualification i.e. full-time regular Diploma is not eligible/ allowed.
• Experience: 01 year

Sr. Accountant: Inter CA Pass or Inter CMA Pass

Hindi Translator:

• Master’s degree from a recognized Indian university in Hindi with English as an elective subject at the Degree level or Master’s Degree from a recognized Indian university in English with Hindi as an elective subject at the degree level.
• Pass candidates are eligible to apply.
• Experience: 01 year

Draftsman (Civil): 

• Matriculation Pass and ITI in Draughtsman Civil Trade from NCVT with NTC/NAC

Draftsman (Elect./Mech.): 

• Matriculation Pass and ITI in Draughtsman Mechanical/ Electrical Trade from NCVT with NTC/NAC.

Age Limit :- 30 Years

Age Relaxation:

• The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ ST.
• 3 years for OBC (Non- creamy layer).
• It is relaxable by 10 years for PwBD – General, 13 years for PwBD – OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and 15 years for PwBD – SC/ST candidates.
• The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for the candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.
• The relaxation of age for Ex-servicemen shall be as per Government guidelines.

Selection Process :-

• The candidates registered online with NHPC and have filled in all the requisite information in conformity with eligibility criteria shall be provisionally allowed to appear for Computer Based Online Test.
• The Minimum Qualifying Marks in CBT for consideration of candidates in the selection process
• Gen./OBC/ EWS: 40% Marks
• SC/ST/PWD: 35% Marks
• Based on the merit of the Online Test, the final selected candidates will be given a provisional “Offer of Appointment”.
• The Computer Based Test/Online Test will be held in 18 Cities* as mentioned in the ‘Online’ Application system.

Application Fees :-

• Candidates belonging to the General, EWS & OBC (NCL) categories are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs.295/- through online mode.
• The SC/ST/PwBD/ESM category candidates need not pay the registration fee.
