business of thermal power generation in the state of West Bengal, India. WBPDCL works in tandem with West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) and Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation (CESC).

Positions :- Graduate & Diploma Apprentice

Job Location :- West Bengal

Stipend :-

Graduate Apprentice – Rs.9000/-
Diploma Apprentice – Rs.8000/-

Qualification :-

Graduate Apprentice :

Graduate Degree (04) years full time course) in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering/ Instrumentation/ Mining from any institute recognized by the AICTE.

Technician Apprentice :

Diploma (03 years full time course) in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering/ Instrumentation from any institute recognized by the AICTE or from any institute recognized by the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education.

Age Limit (as on 01.06.2022) :-

Graduate Apprentice : 18 – 25 years
Diploma Apprentice : 18 – 24 years

Total Vacancies :-

Graduate Apprentice :

Mechanical – 12 Posts
Electrical – 10 Posts
Instrumentation / Electronics – 05 Posts
Mining – 03 Posts

Diploma Apprentice :

Mechanical – 13 Posts
Electrical – 10 Posts

Selection Process :-

Candidates shall be called for Personal Interview (PI) based on percentage of marks achieved in Degree/ Diploma Engineering @ 1:5 ratio taking into consideration the respective reservation norms.
