CSIR-Central Institute of Mining and Fuel Research CSIR-CIMFR, previously known as Central Mining Research Institute and Central Fuel Research Institute, is based in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, India.It is a constituent laboratory of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, an autonomous government body and India’s largest research and development organisation.

The establishment of CSIR-CIMFR was aimed to provide R&D inputs for the entire coal-energy chain from mining to consumption through integration of the core competencies of the two premier coal institutions of the country.

Positions :- Project Assistants & Project Associate – I

Job Location :- Chhattisgarh

Salary :-

• Project Assistant –  Rs. 20,000/-
• Project Associate- I –   Rs. 25,000/- ( Rs. 31,000/- for GATE or NET-qualified candidates)

Qualification :-

Project Assistant:

•  All 3 years B.Sc in Chemistry or B.Sc (H) in Chemistry OR
• All 3 years B.Sc in Geology or B.Sc (H) in Geology OR
• Diploma in Mining Engineering OR
• Diploma in Electrical OR
• Diploma in Computer Engineering OR
• Diploma in Civil Engineering

Project Associate- I:

• B.E/B.Tech in Mining Engineering OR
• Post Graduate Master Degree in Chemistry/Applied Chemistry OR
• Post Graduate Master Degree in Geology/ Applied Geology OR

Note: This post is purely on a temporary basis (6 Months / One year ) based on project requirement

Age Limit (as on the date of the Interview –  12th to 18th April 2023) :-

• Project Assistant – 21 to 50 years
• Project Associate-I & II – 21 to 35 years
• Senior Project Associate – 21 to 40 years

Age Relaxation:

• Age relaxation will be given to Statutory groups as per the rule.

Total Vacancies :- 40 Posts

• Project Assistant – 28 Posts
• Project Associate-I – 12 Posts

Selection Process :-

• Selection will be based on an interview once the certificates are screened for eligibility.
